Just make sure it's 502 spec and full synthetic. You're looking at something like 0W-40 or 5W-40. Liqui Moly and Mobil 1 Euro are both used by a lot of GTI drivers. Motul is good too but it's pretty expensive. Personally, I buy Mobil-1 0W-40 European Formula whenever Walmart is having a sale.
